As promised, here are some pictures of the finished, at last, ‘M2’ (after 4 years from buying the ’72 2002tii shell). Just started driving it….we still have a few minor kinks to work out, but overall she’s a blast. Feel free to add this to your website if you like.

Background Summary:
I purchased the ’72 2002tii shell in March 2004. The shell was virtually rust-free and came with the turbo flairs, rockers, and front spoiler from previous owner. I already had the Schnitzer 2.5 S4 (S14) engine and associate e30 M3 drive train components, include Getrag 265CR, prior to purchase of ’02. All fabrication, body & paint, and mechanical work associated with this full chassis-off restoration were done by Vintage Sports & Restoration in Bow, NH. It has rack & pinion steering (from e21 323i). The suspension is Ireland Engineering sport springs with stock 2002tii struts. The exhaust consists of Group-A rally header, VSR dual cat, and custom dual rear mufflers & pipes. The seats are 320 Recaros (front) and 635CSi (rears). Plus, many other custom features.
